After selling Zebao and remaining silent for three years, Sun Caijin once again made a comeback and entered the overseas small home appliance industry.


According to Tianyancha, Sun Caijin's new company is called Shenzhen Huyi Technology Co., Ltd. It was registered and established as early as 2020. At the beginning of registration, it was originally held by Daze Investment, which was personally controlled by Sun Caijin. In February 2023, a new round of industrial and commercial changes was completed. The largest shareholder of this company now is Shenzhen Huyi Investment Development Co., Ltd. Upon closer inspection, it can be seen whether the shareholder is a Hong Kong company and whether the executive director is Sun Caijin. At present, there is no external capital on the shareholder list of Huyi Technology, mainly Sun Caijin and some individuals.


This company's brand is called Typhur, and since October 2023, it has been intensively increasing multiple patent applications, such as "Automatic Control System for Kitchen Water", "Cooking Equipment and Heating Components", "Handheld Temperature Probe for Cooking Ingredients", and so on. It can be seen that since the second half of last year, Huyi Technology has significantly accelerated the progress of entrepreneurial technology preparation.


It is worth noting that Sun Caijin left Zebao, which he founded in August 2020, and established a new company in the same year to prepare for future entrepreneurship. At almost the same time, another partner of Zebao, Wei Lihu, founded Hesheng Innovation in September 2020, also choosing the overseas small home appliance market. Zebao's Past



Before the establishment of Huyi Technology, Zebao founded by Sun Caijin was renowned as one of the representatives of Shenzhen's cross-border e-commerce wealth myth.


In 1997, Sun Caijin graduated from Peking University and was an alumnus of Xu Jiadong from Global E-commerce. In 2007, he founded Zebao Innovation, which sells high-quality and affordable Chinese products overseas through cross-border e-commerce. Taking advantage of the market gap, Zebao developed rapidly, with sales exceeding 100 million yuan in just three years.


As Amazon extends an olive branch to Chinese sellers, it has sparked a wave of cross-border e-commerce. Zebao's performance on Dongfeng has exploded like a rocket. By 2020, its revenue had reached nearly 5 billion yuan, with a 50 fold growth rate in just 10 years. It has become a shining star in the cross-border e-commerce industry.


However, in 2021, Zebao, which overly relied on Amazon channels, suffered a heavy blow. Its six main brands, including RAVPower and VAVA, were closed, resulting in a year-on-year decrease of 46.02% in total revenue and a final loss of approximately 886 million yuan. This accident directly ignited the conflict between Zebao and Xinghui Shares, and since then, both sides have been embroiled in a long and unresolved conflict.


Looking back on 2018, Zebao sold to Xinghui Shares for 1.53 billion yuan in order to seek listing and achieve greater development. This was not uncommon at that time. At that time, cross-border e-commerce companies had developed to a certain extent and began to seek listing. However, independent listing took a long time, the review process was cumbersome, and the cost was high. Therefore, they signed betting agreements and backdoor listings with A-share listed companies, becoming the choice of many cross-border e-commerce sellers. Zebao was precisely holding hands with Star Emblem Precision in this situation.


Zebao has just been merged into Star Emblem Precision and went through a honeymoon period. At that time, Zebao was still under the control of Sun Caijin. With the injection of capital, Zebao developed even more rapidly. The agreement between the two sides was that from 2018 to 2020, the net profit for the three years would not be less than 108 million yuan, 145 million yuan, and 190 million yuan, respectively, which was easily achieved. Xinghui Precision also directly offered 14.57 million shares of stock to reward 51 employees, including Zebao's core management personnel, in accordance with its commitment to achieving performance targets. At that time, the total reward amount was about 170 million yuan.


On August 11, 2020, Sun Caijin, the founder of Zebao, and Cai Gengxi, the founder of Xinghui Precision, signed a handover agreement and left the company he founded. Zebao officially entered the "Cai Gengxi era", but soon the brand was banned and suffered a heavy blow. As a result, Cai Gengxi and Sun Caijin each had their own opinions, and thus began the process of mutual litigation, which was quite tortuous.


In its early years, although Zebao also relied on the distribution and brushing model, it began operating its own brand early on, laying out its brand matrix. In product design, it also sought professional design teams to cooperate, and for some popular product lines, it also invested research and development engineers to create more competitive products, marking the beginning of the road to branding. At its peak in 2020, Zebao had 219 R&D personnel. Through this boutique distribution model, Zebao occupied a considerable share in categories such as power supply, Bluetooth audio, small appliances, computers, mobile phones, and personal health care.

卖了泽宝,沉寂三年后,孙才金再度出山,这次他入局海外小家电行业。

天眼查显示,孙才金的这家新公司叫做深圳市虎一科技有限公司,早在2020年就注册成立,注册之初原本是孙才金个人控制的大泽投资持股,在2023年2月完成了新一轮工商变更。现在这家公司最大的股东是深圳市虎一投资发展有限公司,穿透看股东是一个香港公司,执行董事还是孙才金。目前虎一科技股东名单里没有看见外部资本的身影,主要还是孙才金以及一些个人。

这家公司的品牌叫做Typhur,从2023年10月开始,就密集增加了多项专利申请,诸如“厨房用水自动控制系统”、“食材烹饪装置及发热组件”、“用于食材烹饪的手持式温度探针”等等。可以看出,从去年下半年开始,虎一科技明显加快了创业技术筹备的进展。

值得注意的是,孙才金是在2020年8月离开了一手创立的泽宝,同年就成立了新的公司,为日后创业做准备。而几乎同一时候,泽宝的另外一位合伙人魏立虎,在2020年9月,成立了和生创新,选择的也是海外小家电赛道,这家公司产品上线1年营收即突破3亿人民币。

泽宝往事


在成立虎一科技之前,孙才金创立的泽宝可谓赫赫有名,是当初深圳跨境电商财富神话的代表之一。

1997年,孙才金毕业于北京大学,跟环球易购的徐佳东是校友,2007年,成立了泽宝创新,通过跨境电商把中国物美价廉的商品卖到海外去,趁着市场空白的机遇,泽宝发展迅速,仅用三年销售额就超过一亿元。

随着亚马逊向中国卖家伸出橄榄枝,掀起了跨境电商的热潮。泽宝乘东风业绩如火箭般爆发,到2020年,营收已近50亿元,50倍增速只用了10年时间,俨然是跨境电商行业一颗耀眼的明日之星。

然而,2021年,过度依赖于亚马逊渠道的泽宝遭遇重创,旗下RAVPower、VAVA等6大主品牌被关闭,总营收同比下降46.02%,最终亏损约8.86亿元。这场事故直接引爆了泽宝与星徽股份的矛盾,此后双方陷入了漫长的撕扯之中,至今也无法理清楚。

回首2018年,泽宝为了谋求上市,获得更大的发展,以15.3亿元的价格卖给星徽股份。这在那时并不稀奇,彼时跨境电商企业发展到一定程度,纷纷开始谋求上市,然而独立上市耗时长、审核繁琐、费用高,于是与A股上市公司签订对赌协议、借壳上市,成为众多跨境电商大卖的选择,泽宝正是在这种情况下牵手星徽精密的。

泽宝刚刚并入星徽精密,经历了一段蜜月期,那时泽宝由孙才金继续掌控,有了资本的注入,泽宝发展得更加迅速,双方对赌的约定,在2018-2020年,三年净利润分别不低于1.08亿元、1.45亿元和1.90亿元,轻轻松松就做到了。星徽精密也按照业绩达标后的承诺,直接拿出1457万股股票,奖励泽宝核心管理人员等51名员工,当时奖励总额约1.7亿元。

2020年8月11日,泽宝创始人孙才金与星徽精密创始人蔡耿锡,签订《交接协议》,离开了他一手创立的企业,泽宝正式进入“蔡耿锡时代”,但很快就品牌被封,遭遇重创。对此结果,蔡耿锡和孙才金各执一词,于是开始了相互诉讼的历程,颇为曲折。

早年虽然泽宝同样依赖铺货刷单模式,但它早早的就开始运营自己的品牌,进行了品牌矩阵布局,在产品设计上,也会找专业设计团队合作,对于某些热门产品线,还会投入研发工程师,来打造更有竞争力的产品,品牌化道路初显。在2020年巅峰,泽宝拥有研发人员达219人,通过这种精品铺货模式,泽宝在电源、蓝牙音频、小家电、电脑、手机、个护健康等品类中都占据了不小的份额。
